Exchange Club Of Highline Wants To ‘Wipe Out’ Local Toilet Paper Shortages

The Exchange Club of Highline wants to ‘wipe out’ any local toilet paper shortages at area food banks.

What??? Food banks need toilet paper???

“Many times people who visit the food bank are forced to choose between a food item or a roll of toilet paper for their family because food stamps can only be used to buy food, not personal hygiene items,” reads a press release. “Toilet paper is often in short supply at the food banks.”

“The Exchange Club of Highline decided that a Toilet Paper Drive would help. Last year our Toilet Paper drive collected more than 9,000 rolls of toilet paper for the three area food banks — Des Moines, Highline and White Center. We want to meet or beat that number this year. We need your help!”

Here are the details:

WHAT: Exchange Club Toilet Paper Drive

WHEN: Saturday, June 4th, from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.

WHERE: Burien Albertson’s, located at 15840 1st Ave. South.
