Burien Will Be Promoting Annexation at White Center Jubilee Days July 21


In addition to holding its next annexation forum on July 12 (6 p.m.) at DubSea Coffee, the City of Burien will also have a booth on July 21 (10 a.m. – 8 p.m.) at the Jubilee Days Street Fair in the White Center Business District.

“Staff will answer questions and pass out informational brochures including copies in Spanish, Vietnamese, Cambodian and Somali,” reads a note on the city’s website.

    Remember a vote FOR annexation is a vote AGAINST fireworks. It is not legal to set off fireworks in Burien.

    That did not stop people in Burien lighting off fireworks. The police do nothing about it. You can still vote for annexation and light off fireworks.
