Woman’s Body Found Floating in Lake in White Center Friday Morning

The Seattle P-I is reporting that a woman’s body was found floating in a small lake near a White Center apartment complex Friday morning.

Reports are that a woman’s clothed body was spotted floating face-down about 10 feet from the shore in Mallard Lake, near the Coronado Springs Apartments in the 1400 block of SW 107th Street (map below).

Detectives responded to the scene and are investigating, said Sgt. Cindi West of the King County Sheriff’s Office.

The woman’s identity has not yet been determined.
