Celebrate Dia de los Muertos Nov. 1 & 2 at White Center Community Cultural Center
A celebration of Dia de los Muertos (aka “Day of the Dead”) will take place from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. on Nov. 1 and 2 at the White Center Community Cultural Center at 9412 18th Ave SW.
“We’ll have light refreshments, come and paint sugar skulls, build or add to the community altar, read your poetry or an essay – we’ll have open mic,” reads an announcement.
Guests are invited to share their Artwork during this observance of a Mexican celebration of Life & Death.
Please note there is NO storytelling program for the month of November and December; they will begin again in January 2013.
