REMINDER: Get Set to Rock Out at ‘The Bubbleator Sessions’ Party Dec. 14

Next Friday (Dec. 14), the official release party for a brand spankin’ new, locally-produced album called The Bubbleator Sessions, Vol. 1 will take place at the High Dive, featuring local band Trip Like Animals!

If you don’t remember what the Bubbleator was, it was a really cool, space-age, iconic elevator that started its life at the 1962 Century 21 Seattle World’s Fair, then served for a while at the “Food Circus,” which is now known as the Armory (formerly the Center House).

This new project – recorded inside the original, historic plexiglass sphere – was put together by BTB Founder/Publisher Scott Schaefer, local band Trip Like Animals (featuring Mike Molner from the Tin Room Bar) along with Audio Engineer/Producer Norm Bowler, along with the current owner of the Bubbleator, Gene Achziger.

Here’s a promo video produced by Schaefer and featuring the amazing voice of northwest comedy legend Pat Cashman:

This one-of-kind album will officially be dropped on Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, with a release party at the High Dive (513 N 36th in Fremont; 206.632.0212). Please mark your calendars and come for a great evening of original music from a great local band!

Please step to the read of the sphere,” is what the Bubbleator Operator would say as people loaded in.
