Chamber members and friends;
The next Chamber luncheon is Tuesday, March 12 at noon at the Triangle Pub (corners of Roxbury, 16th and Delridge). King County Council member Joe McDermott will speak on how the county can support expanded regulatory policies that will help reduce open alcohol consumption in White Center, and increase penalties for graffiti and tagging. These and many other issues were outlined in a letter to Council member McDermott in December, and he has been researching the various issues and will facilitate the discussion on what he and the county can do to put more teeth into enforcement and code violations that will help us make White Center cleaner and more family-oriented.
Highline School Superintendent Susan Enfield has also been invited to discuss our current strategic planning process for Highline Public Schools.
We will also announce the new Chamber board members recently elected, and install the new White Center Chamber President, Vice President, and other executive officers.
