Fundraiser Skate for ALS Victim will be April 28 at Southgate Roller Rink

A fundraiser skate for ALS victim Pauline will be held Sunday, April 28 at Southgate Roller Rink in White Center.

Here’s more from an email:

Dear friends and family,

Many of you know about my friend Pauline, who I met (along with her husband Simon) when I lived/traveled in South America many years ago. They are probably the most fun and adventure-loving couple (now family) I know (that’s saying a lot, because I know a lot of fun and adventure-loving families!).

Sadly, Pauline was diagnosed with ALS in 2009. This a horrible disease, and perhaps even more so for one as physically active as Pauline (former professional mountain biker – placed at World Cup). Pauline and Simon have continued to live their lives with their adorable girls, and Pauline has also become an ambassador for ALS. Now they’re partnering with Habitat for Humanity to update their house for Pauline’s upcoming accessibility needs. …. and this is where you come in!

Please join me roller skating at Southgate Roller Rink to have some fun and raise some money to help support Pauline and Simon’s home renovation.
