Welcome new Advertiser Work Ready and More, who will open their doors to the public this Wednesday, Oct. 9!

Are YOU Work Ready?

If not, stop in and get outfitted at a fraction of what you’d expect. You won’t want to miss this factory direct retailer, occupying a generous 1600 square feet in downtown Burien at 156 SW 152nd Street near Lucky Donuts and H&R Block (map below).

WorkReadyCoatAlong with a wide variety of bright construction attire, you’ll find rain and winter jackets, T-shirts, flannel shirts, jeans, socks, sweatshirts and PJs for women, men and children. Deep discount and manufacturer pricing will make this the place for holiday shopping with abandon!

The business is the newest project from a local Normandy Park family, who have long been in the apparel manufacturing business offering private label programs for numerous N.W. retailers including Nordstrom, Fred Meyer and the late Bon Marche. Lexi Larsen, is a member of the second generation of the family who will be running the shop as their newest venture in retailing.

“We plan to bring new merchandise frequently from our nearby warehouse,” Lexi said. “It will be like there’s a new selection all the time. We are really excited to be right here in the neighborhood and hope everyone will come and check it out!”

Our personal favorite were the pint-sized long johns and cozy PJ pants when we recently got a sneak peek. The lounge pants feature whimsical prints, a real working drawstring and a knock-out price of just $9.99 or two for $15.00.

“My Dad is a big fan of the ‘two-fer’ pricing,” Lexi added. “The customers seem to like them too!”

Don’t wait though…with prices this good, early birds will definitely get the best selection. So stop by starting on Wednesday, and wish them a big B-Town welcome!
