WhiteWater Aquatics hires Mike Hoppe as new Head Coach

Hoppe pictWhiteWater Aquatics announced this week that they have hired Mike Hoppe as their new head coach.

Coach Hoppe has been a swim and water polo coach for over 20 years. He is an American Swim Coaches Association Level 4 Swim Coach, and a Silver Level US Water Polo coach. Coach Hoppe has developed many accomplished swimmers, such as high school “All Americans” and national level qualifiers with 1st place ranking on the National Top Times list. He also had the privilege of coaching for the US Virgin Islands on the island of St. Croix, and coached their National Team at the Pan American Games.

Coach Hoppe comes to the Seattle area from Redding, California where he was voted 2013 “Age Group Coach of the Year,” and one of his swimmers earned 15 Sierra Nevada LSC and 5 U.S. National Age Group records.

Coach Hoppe enjoys working with swimmers of all ages and abilities.

WhiteWater Aquatics Swim Team is a family-orientated year-round swim club that provides top-notch coaching, fun, fitness, and friendships for both swimmers and parents. WWA offers a progressive program for swimmers age 5 and up from novice to elite level swimmers.
