The Highline Bears have been busy this last week.

On Tuesday, the Bears took on the Seattle Studs. This team is really good and has been around a long time. Pitcher #13 Travis Cook pitched his first ever complete game. Even though the Bears lost 1-5, it was exciting to see if Travis could complete the game. He threw 121 pitches.

On Thursday night (June 18), the Bears played the Everett Merchants. There was a late rally by the Bears when pitchers Travis Cook and #44 Joey Gamache came into the game. Cook walked and Gamache hit a double to score a run. Catcher #23 Ben Fitzhugh also got his first home run after coming back from the injured list.

The Bears lost 3-9 but showed great character by having fun towards the end of the game. I even caught catcher #8 Brice McCulloch dancing during the sixth inning.
