Photos and Story by Isabel Herbruger, age 11

The Bears played four games this past weekend. The first was Friday July 17, 2015 against the Everett Merchants. The Bears played well but could not seem to score, losing 2-6.

One exciting play during the game was when a Merchant ran into #8 Brice McCulloch at home and was called out. I missed the tumble but I got the umpire calling the player out.

The Bears let kids run the bases afterwards and the whole team signed baseball trading cards for them.

The Bears lost on Saturday against the Thurston County Senators.

The last two home games of the season are this coming weekend – Friday, July 24 against the Seattle Studs, and Saturday, July 25 against the Northwest Honkers. The Bears will finish their season on the road.

South King Media is proud to have been a founding Sponsor of the Bears, and we are thrilled that Isabel was able to take such amazing photos all season!
