Police officer injured during response to store robbery in White Center Friday

Around 2-2:30 p.m. Friday afternoon (Dec. 30, 2016), police responded to a report of a possible shoplift/robbery at the “Top to Bottom” store, located at 9651 15th Ave SW in White Center (map below).

Police say that two suspects pushed two store employees while stealing shoes, which makes it a robbery instead of a shoplift, according to Sgt. Cindi West of the King County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded and chased the suspects on foot, who were apprehended.

However, during the arrest, a Sheriff’s Office Deputy suffered a broken finger.
