Man shot in head, killed outside bar in White Center early Sunday morning

Around 1:43 a.m. Sunday morning (May 7), police responded to a report of a shooting at the Taradise Bar – located at 9808 16th Ave SW in White Center (map below) – to find a man dead in the street from a gunshot wound to his head.

The Taradise is located in the old Marv’s Broiler building.

Police say that details are sketchy, but told us that this tragedy started out as a fight between some women in the women’s bathroom. The altercation moved to the main front area of the bar, and then outside into the street.

A man at the bar who went outside to talk to one of the women involved in the altercation was shot.

Witness said the suspect calmly shot the victim in the head as he stood out on the street.

“We don’t know if the suspect had been at the bar or not,” Sgt. Cindi West said.

“There is very little suspect info,” West added, “wearing a hoodie but no other details.”

Has anyone heard anything on this shooting? No news in almost two weeks? Can’t find victims name, or if they have info on a suspect. As a resident, I find this shooting very disturbing.
