U.S. Sen. Maria Cantwell made a visit to TEC at the Evergreen High campus in White Center on Saturday morning (July 8).

Sen. Cantwell met with members of the public and the press to discuss her opinions and actions towards the issues our community sees everyday.

Topics covered included health care, affordable housing, the growing price of living in Seattle, immigration, net neutrality and of course, President Trump.

Her event was the second stop on her town hall tour across Washington, which began Friday (July 7) in Seattle. Her next expected stops are in Wenatchee & Spokane. Dates and locations will be announced in the near future.

I would like to see the ongoing crisis of Fukushima addressed.

It was a total love fest with soft ball questions and a brain dead audience of clones engaged in groupthink. Where was the push back on how the area is being sold out to high earners, liberal or not, and the working class is being moved out? All about Trump and stupid ass questions that we already know the answer to and has no bearing on our immediate lives.
