White Center Community Summit will be at Evergreen High on Sat., Nov. 4

The second White Center Community Summit of 2017 – with the first one held in January – will be held on Saturday, Nov. 4, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Evergreen High School.

There will be Food, Booths, Entertainment, Talleres de Inmigracion, Racism and Immigration Workshops, School Involvement Workshops, etc., as well as translation for Bosnians, Spanish, Eritrean and Somali speakers (traduccion en Espanol, Bosnian, Eritrean y Somali).

During the previous summit, the White Center Community Development Association (WCCDA) was able to continue to collect data that showed thoughts and concerns of renters, homeowners, youth, business owners, community organizations and anyone interested in making a positive impact on White Center. This upcoming summit is aimed towards responses to those thoughts and concerns. It is vital to the White Center CDA that resident voice and leadership is at the center of development and other works in White Center.

“The Summit is also a time to celebrate ourselves as a neighborhood! Please bring a friend and join us!”
