Pedestrian hit by car in White Center


The King County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that a pedestrian was hit by a car on Thursday afternoon, Oct. 12, near 4th Ave SW at SW 108th Street in White Center (map below).

Police told The White Center Blog that the vehicle was northbound on 4th Ave SW – south of SW 108th – when a pedestrian stepped out near a parked vehicle into the path of the vehicle.

The pedestrian was struck by the mirror of the vehicle and suffered non-serious injuries, but was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle as a precaution.

Police add that there was no impairment suspected with the driver.

    My brother hit the windshield and his injuries are a bit more then minor.
