‘Stand Against Racism’ event will be at Greenbridge on Wednesday, April 25

The YWCA’s ‘Stand Against Racism’ event will be held at its Greenbridge Learning Center on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, from 2 – 4 p.m.

This is an annual signature campaign by YWCA USA to “increase awareness within local neighborhoods about the negative impact of institutional and structural racism in housing, employment, financial empowerment, and healthcare access; among many others.”

This year’s event at YWCA Greenbridge will offer a glimpse on how institutional and structural racism impacts clients when they try to access services. Come and listen to actual customers describe their individual experiences. Knowing their stories may help nurture greater awareness and recognition of your power, mission and future goal of building a community without racism.
