UPDATE: Suspect wanted in connection with cop hit & run turns self in


Khalia Wimberly, the 18-year old suspect wanted in connection with running a car into a King County Sheriff’s Deputy during a shoplifting incident at the Roxbury Safeway on Monday, has turned herself in.

She was booked into jail.

As we previously reported, on Monday afternoon (Jan. 7), a police officer was injured by a vehicle driven by Wimberly while responding to a shoplifting call at the Safeway located on Roxbury and 28th Ave SW in White Center.

    I hope the police can get clear cut answer of why this person acted in such away . How did they get raised and why do they choose to live there life in such away of breaking laws and endangering the public . What is the suspect’s overall goal in life and how are they showing any respect for their race or culture by acting in such away .
