Police seeking public’s help identifying White Center armed robbery suspect
The King County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to identify the person responsible for an armed robbery at a gas station on Roxbury Street in White Center on Tuesday, Feb. 2: The suspect is described as an unknown race male in his 20s, wearing a black sweatshirt and jeans, along with a black ball cap. He was armed with a shotgun when he entered the store at about 2:45 a.m. Persons with information regarding this case are encouraged to call Detective Belford at (206) 255-9750. "Please share this post far and wide so we can lock this armed robber up!" police said.

Police find woman’s body in White Center home who had ‘been dead for weeks’
The King County Sheriff's Office is reporting that around 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9, they responded to a call of a welfare check at a residence in the 1800 block of SW 98th Street (map below), where they found the body of a deceased female. Police say that the victim "appeared to have been dead for weeks." A neighbor told police that the front door to the residence had been open for at least a day, and they had not seen the female resident for a while. Key Bank in White Center robbed
The Key Bank located at 9655 17th Ave SW in White Center (map below) was robbed late Wednesday afternoon (Jan. 6) just before 5 p.m., according to the King County Sheriff's Office. Sgt. Cindi West told The White Center Blog that that no weapon was seen, and that the robbery suspect escaped. "He's a white male, 5’9” tall, slender build, about 30-years old, wearing a black beanie, black jacket, white shirt and jeans.," West said.
