Dirt Corps and the Georgetown Youth Council invite all to join a community gathering at Gateway Park North, a local riverside park, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024.
Volunteers will gather to care for the lovely poplar trees and learning about the value of added tree canopy in industrial areas.
“We will also be winterizing the garden beds and rain gardens by removing weeds and tucking our plants in with mulch,” organizers said. “We want to make sure this place is snug for the winter season!”
- All skill levels are welcome.
- Please wear closed-toed shoes, weather-appropriate clothes that can get dirty, and bring a water bottle.
- Tools, gloves, snacks, and drinks will be provided.
- Please register here so they can estimate supplies needed.
