Firefighters and community volunteers delivered holiday food and toys to 22 families in Burien and White Center on Monday morning, Dec. 22, 2025 as part of the annual Holiday Outreach program organized by King County Fire District No. 2.

According to King County Fire District No. 2, the deliveries were made by firefighters and volunteers working alongside Santa John and Santa Jon, with support from local partners including TriMed Ambulance, the Highline Exchange Club, and the Highline High School Drill Team.

Organizers said the community again contributed financial donations to cover food for participating families, while TriMed Ambulance donated all of the toys distributed to children during the deliveries.

The effort focused on bringing holiday support directly to neighbors in need – including 66 children – with firefighters and volunteers visiting homes to deliver items in person.

“A great effort by all, thank you to everyone, and especially Captain Stoess and Tri-Med ambulance for their generous gift donations,” officials said. “Thank you also to everyone that donated money to the fire district to allow us to purchase the food and bulk items for the families.”

Santa John and Santa Jon joined firefighters, medics, students and volunteers to deliver food and toys to area families on Monday, Dec. 22, as part of King County Fire District’s 2025 Holiday Outreach program.
