An adult man was hospitalized after a shooting Sunday afternoon, Mar. 15 in White Center, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded just after 4 p.m. to the 9700 block of 8th Ave SW (map below) after receiving reports of a shooting.

Authorities said deputies arrived quickly and began canvassing the area.

Emergency responders with Medic 1 treated an adult man at the scene who had been shot. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.

Officials said no arrests had been made as of Sunday evening.

Authorities also said there was no ongoing danger to the public.

The case is being investigated by the King County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit.
