The Rat City Art Walk will return to White Center on Thursday night, April 16, bringing an evening of art and community activity to the neighborhood’s business core, according to organizers.

The free event will run from 5 to 8 p.m., with hours varying by location, and will take place along 16th Ave SW.

Organizers said the event is open to the public at no cost and also free for participants, inviting artists, businesses and community members to take part.

Founded in September 2024, the Rat City Art Walk is a free monthly event held every third Thursday that brings art, music and community energy to White Center. Organized by a volunteer-driven nonprofit, the event partners local businesses with artists to host pop up exhibits, live performances and interactive activities, creating an accessible space where both emerging and established creatives can showcase their work while inviting the public to experience the neighborhood’s vibrant culture.
