The King County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that a barricaded domestic violence suspect incident in White Center comes to peaceful resolution.

Police say that on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at around 2:30 p.m., Deputies were dispatched to the 10000 block of 2nd Ave SW (map below) for a domestic violence incident involving a male and female.

Deputies developed probable cause to arrest the male suspect for an Assault. The male suspect locked himself downstairs in the house and threatened to shoot any deputies who tried to arrest him. KCSO’s Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT), along with TAC-30 (SWAT) team was called to the house.

CNT attempted for almost two hours to get the suspect to surrender peacefully but he refused.

Finally, around 4:30 p.m., the suspect agreed to come outside and was arrested by TAC-30. He was later booked into the King County Jail for Assault 4 (DV).

“Great job by everyone on scene for a peaceful resolution,” police said.
