Rotary Club of Burien and White Center benefit concert featuring The Pazific set for Thursday, Feb. 5

The Rotary Club of Burien and White Center will host a benefit concert and dance party Thursday, Feb. 5, at Tim’s Tavern in White Center, with proceeds supporting local programs and organizations.
The fundraiser concert will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Tim’s Tavern in White Center (map below).
The evening will include live music by The Pazific, an eight piece Latin funk and soul band, along with a Latin dance lesson, raffles and other activities, organizers said.
Tickets are $25, with all proceeds benefiting the Rotary Club of Burien and White Center. In addition, 10 percent of all food and drink sales from the evening will be donated to the club, according to organizers.
The fundraiser is intended to support Rotary programs and community organizations in the Burien and White Center area, including scholarships and local service projects.
“For more than 70 years, the Rotary Club of Burien and White Center has proudly served our community by supporting local causes, scholarships and service projects,” Rotarians said in an announcement.
Organizers said the club supports groups including the White Center Food Bank, WestSide Baby, Highline Schools Foundation, the Environmental Science Center, Shop with a Cop and scholarships for local graduating seniors.
