Drivers should expect overnight road closures in White Center on 10th Ave SW between SW 112th Street and SW 116th Street (map below) from Monday, Aug. 31 to Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026.

10th Ave SW will be closed between SW 112th St and SW 116th St starting at 3 p.m. on Monday Aug. 31, 2026, so crews can prepare for paving work. The closure will remain in place until 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026.

A signed detour will be in place.

Local access will be maintained during the closure.

Following the closure, crews will need to complete additional work. A lane restriction will be in place on weekdays, from Wednesday, Sept. 2 to Monday, Sept. 14, 2026, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. During work hours, flaggers will direct two-way traffic through an open lane. School buses and emergency responders will be prioritized.
