Rainier Roller Riot to face South Sound Roller Derby in ‘Heartbreak Brawl’ on Saturday, Feb. 15

Forget dinner and a movie—celebrate Valentine’s weekend with action-packed roller derby and a touch of flair at “The Heartbreak Brawl,” as Rainier Roller Riot takes on South Sound Roller Derby.

The event will be held on Saturday, Feb. 15, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Southgate Roller Rink, located at 9646 17th Ave SW in White Center.

The evening kicks off at 4:30 p.m. with doors opening to fans.

At 5 p.m., an extra-special preshow featuring local drag artists and surprise performers will set the stage for the main bout.

The roller derby action begins with the first whistle at 6:30 p.m., promising a high-energy showdown.

“This is not your typical Valentine’s weekend date night,” organizers said. “Bring your sweetheart, your crush, or your best friends for a night to remember with derby action, vibrant performances, and an unforgettable after-party.”

Fans can keep the excitement rolling at the post-bout after-party, which will cap off the evening’s festivities.
