White Center Block Party, Strength Fest planned for Saturday, Aug. 22

White Center will host a full day of community events on Saturday, Aug. 22, including the White Center Block Party Prefunk, the White Center Block Party and Strength Fest, according to event organizers.

Schedule:

The White Center Block Party Prefunk will run from Noon to 3 p.m. at Greenbridge Plaza.

The event will feature a live DJ, Beats Bingo, a multicultural fashion show, live art demonstrations, shopping, community resources and more.

The White Center Block Party will follow from 2 to 9 p.m. downtown on 16th Ave SW.

This event will include local vendors, live entertainment, food, beer gardens, karaoke, a steamroller art exhibit, live wrestling and other activities.

Strength Fest, hosted by Strong Life Training, will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The community strength and wellness festival will feature health and wellness vendors, free fitness classes, children’s activities, a deadlift competition, strength challenges, community organizations and more.
