DESCRIPTION:“Connecting to Our Creeks” will be held on Sept 21\, 2022 from 6:30 – 8 p.m. at the Duwamish Longhouse and Cultural Center. \nThis is a FREE community event. \nThey’ll have guest speakers from a variety of local organizations who will be presenting on the ecology of urban creeks\, including a focus on Longfellow Creek. \n“Join us for this free\, family-friendly event to learn about the local ecosystem of Longfellow and other neighborhood creeks – including water\, plants\, and wildlife and what we can do to keep these systems healthy\,” organizers said.  \nLight food and refreshments will be provided.  \nKen Workman of the Duwamish Tribe will give a te tribal welcome\, followed by presentations from Midsound Fisheries Enhancement Group\, Beavers Northwest\, Puget Soundkeepers Alliance\, and Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association.  \nTo register\, please visit https://dnda.org/events/our-creeks/.  \n \n“We hope you can join us!” \nThe Duwamish Longhouse and Cultural Center is located at 4705 W Marginal Way SW\, Seattle\, WA 98106:
