SUMMARY:Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride 2023 will cruise through area on Sunday\, May 21
DESCRIPTION:The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) will cruise through our area this coming Sunday May 21\, 2023\, and is a worldwide fundraiser now in its twelfth season. \n\n\n\nThe purpose of this ride is to raise money for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health through the Movember Foundation. \n\n\n\nMore than 900 cities between 107 countries will share this event on the same day. \n\n\n\nLong time Burien resident Jeff Earle will lead the south half of Seattle again this year for his ninth season. \n\n\n\nWhere & When to Watch\n\n\n\nAlthough beginning from an undisclosed location\, those that want to watch this parade are encouraged to be on the sidewalk of Classic Eats or the Tin Room within the Olde Burien strip of SW 152nd Street at 10 a.m. on Sunday morning\, May 21\, 2023. \n\n\n\nSeattle is the only city in the world with three separate rides which converge into one final parade. We’re quite proud of that. The event does have a theme\, and it’s riding “dapper.” You’ll see a lot of suits and similar classy attire\, tweed\, fancy mustaches\, etc. Women are certainly involved as well and enjoy a similar classy theme. \n\n\n\nIt’s a great cause\, and more importantly\, the research works and has continuing real results. \n\n\n\n“This has been one of the most profoundly passionate ventures I’ve involved myself in\,” Earle said. \n\n\n\nEarle is the ride coordinator of the Vintage Motorcycle Enthusiasts club\, which has a team of people helping with this event each year. \n\n\n\nHow to Donate\n\n\n\nIf you choose to donate\, the most appropriate is the team’s page here: \n\n\n\nhttps://gfolk.team/TeamVMEVintageMotorcycleEnthusiasts\n\n\n\nMain page for signups: \n\n\n\nhttps://www.gentlemansride.com/\n\n\n\n“Thanks ahead\, and we’re all looking forward to the Sunday parade!” \n\n\n\nVideo
