DESCRIPTION:The 8th Annual Peace in the Hood Job Fair for ages 16 – 24 is coming up on Wednesday\, June 5th from 3-5 p.m. at Steve Cox Memorial Park (map below). \nThe PNTH Job Fair provides employment and mentorship opportunities to youth ages 16 – 24 and is presented in partnership by Workforce Development Council\, Southwest Youth and Family Services\, YWCA of Greenbridge\, and the King County Parks and Recreation White Center Teen Program. \n200+ youth\, 25+ employers\, and 5+ resource providers are expected to attend. \nResume & employment application assistance will be provided in advance\, and on-site interview options are scheduled day of the event with select employers. \nCommunity partners are once again providing the extremely popular youth PNTH Basketball Tournament for ages 12-18 on the outdoor basketball courts between 4-8 p.m. \nMore details are available at Job Launch & PNTH Job Fair – White Center Teen Program here: wcteenprogram.org. \n \nFor additional Information\, please contact Rasheed Smallwood at King County Parks at 206.492.0359. \nSteve Cox Memorial Park is located at 1321 SW 102nd Street:
