DESCRIPTION:King County Parks Outdoor Halloween Carnival for Families is coming up on Saturday\, Oct. 25 from 2-5 p.m. at Steve Cox Memorial Park in White Center (map below). \n“The White Center Teen Program is thrilled to welcome families back to Steve Cox Memorial Park for our Annual Halloween Carnival\,” organizers said. \nThis year the festivities return outdoors\, and families can stroll thru the park to participate in FREE interactive games and other Fall inspired activities. \nHighlights:\n\nCARNIVAL GAMES hosted by WC Teen Program Volunteers\nSpooky Town related arts and crafts\nRefreshments such as hot cider\, hot cocoa\, and hotdogs courtesy of Dub Sea Fish Sticks\nNEW in 2025: Trunk or treating with the Eazy Duz it Car Club\nThe Fall edition of the Steve Cox Memorial Park Scavenger Hunt\nPhoto Ops at several step and repeat displays\nHunting for Dragon eyes on the Multi purpose Field\nVisiting the Pumkin Patch for a free pumpkin\, trying out the obstacle course\, and voting for your favorite pumpkin of 2025\nThe Spooky Town Underground Tour through the basement of the Historic White Center Field House (Friendly for all ages)\nTouring the Haunted Crypt (recommended for ages 12 and up)\n\nAs noted\, all Carnival activities and Fall Recreation programs are FREE. \n \n\nDonate to the White Center Food Bank\nThe White Center Food Bank will also be in attendance on Oct. 25 for anyone wishing to donate to the Food Bank.  The WCFB is currently collecting: \n\nShelf Stable Food: Canned Meat/ Fish (pop-top)\, Rice Noodles\, Spices\, Peanut Butter\, Coffee\, Broth\, Condiments (BBQ\, mustard\, mayo)\, Sugar\, Rice (2lb bags)\, Soy Sauce\, Brown Sugar\, Tamari Sauce\, Oil\, Ponzu Sauce\, Dried Chiles\, and Ramen.\nNon – Food Items: Baby Wipes\, and Sizes 2-3-4-5-6 Diapers.\n\nThis year’s festivities are sponsored by the Teens and Staff of the White Center Teen Program.
