If you were wondering what all the police activity was near White Center on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020, it’s because King County Sheriff Deputies were involved in a foot pursuit of an auto theft suspect in Top Hat.
Police say the suspect initially evaded them before being relocated at a house.
The suspect got into the passenger seat of a vehicle, before running away from police again when confronted.
KCSO’s Guardian 1 chopper tracked the suspect with its FLIR camera through many backyards and fences in/near the 300 block of S. 106th Street until he was finally taken into custody in a backyard shed – watch video of the pursuit below:
Guardian 1 assisted deputies in the Top Hat neighborhood and helped locate an auto theft suspect that had been running from police. The suspect ran and was tracked with @flir camera. Video will be posted shortly.
