A group of area residents are organizing a grassroots ‘Postal Pandemic Appreciation Day’ for this Monday, April 20, 2020 at the Westwood Post Office.

“Any locals who want to show appreciation to their letter carriers who are working dilligently on the front lines during this pandemic to bring us our essentials (with a smile).”

All are encouraged to safely gather in the Westwood Post office parking lot, along the hedge, or the parking lot directly across from it (while practicing social distancing of course), and cheer and wave to to carriers as they leave the station for their routes.

Carriers usually leave the station around 8:30-9 a.m.

“Home made signs to show your appreciation are encouraged!”
