This daring caper is straight out of a Hollywood movie, the King County Sheriff’s Office says:

On May 28, 2020 at around 11:30 p.m., three suspects broke into a business located in the 9600 block of 16th Ave SW in White Center (map below).

Over the course of three hours or so, the suspects cut through a concrete wall leading to a neighboring jewelry store and right through the middle of the jewelry store’s metal safe.

A large amount of jewelry was stolen, mostly gold.

The jewelry store’s alarm and video system was not triggered, since the suspects did not physically enter the business in the usual manner.

Surveillance cameras from nearby businesses captured three suspects coming and going between the hours of 11:30 p.m. and 2:40 a.m.. They appear to be wearing masks and gloves. One suspect is seen exiting a light colored sedan & taking a large duffle bag into the business next to the jewelry store.

After the heist, the suspects were picked up in a newer, dark colored SUV. This appeared to have been a very well-planned operation.
