The King County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help identifying the driver of this vehicle, which police say is suspected of being involved in a recent shoplifting incident at a White Center gas station:

A quick thinking gas station clerk snapped this photo of a theft suspect getting away.

Police say that on Aug. 11, 2021 at 2:07 a.m., a deputy responded to a shoplifting incident at a gas station at the 9500 block of 14th Ave SW in White Center (map below).

The deputy arrived on scene and spoke with the gas station clerk. He told deputies that a male had come inside the store and helped himself to various food items. After grabbing his stash, he boldly walked out of the store without any attempt to pay for the merchandise. The male then got into this vehicle and left the parking lot.

The clerk described the suspect as a white male, 6’0 tall, wearing a black t-shirt, black pants, and a baseball hat. The suspect vehicle is a red two-door, early 1990’s, possibly a Honda. The front left panel is black, either primed or recently replaced.

If you recognize this vehicle, please contact the King County Sheriff’s non-emergency number (206-296-3311) and reference case #C21025113.
