A huge two-alarm fire burned a building at 9800 17th Ave SW in White Center (map below) Wednesday morning, Sept. 1, 2021.
The building previously caught fire in October of 2019.
Firefighters from King County Fire District 2, along with Puget Sound Fire, Tukwila, IAFF2595 and Seattle Fire fought the blaze.
Smoke could be seen for miles from the intense fire.
No injuries have been reported, and the cause is still unknown at this point.
Streets were shut down in the area between SW 100th Street/16th Ave SW to SW 98 Street/17th Ave SW.
