The King County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help finding a ‘hangry’ suspect wanted on suspicion of vandalizing a White Center business:

“We’re all familiar with the word “hangry”, which is being hungry and angry. This person just took it to a whole new level.”

“On Aug. 29, 2021 at 6:10 p.m., a King County deputy responded to a disturbance in the 10400 block of 16th Ave SW (map below). This location is a pizza restaurant located in the White Center community of unincorporated King County.

“The deputy arrived and spoke to an employee who explained that a female came into the store ten minutes prior. She had asked an employee to take her order, however, he was busy helping other customers and told her so. Apparently, having to wait made the woman furious. The woman pushed over several items in the store, including the store’s computerized cash register, damaging it in the process.

“The suspect then left in a silver 2013 Honda Accord.

“Deputies reviewed store footage and confirmed the story. In the video, she pushes the register over and takes down the plastic partition over the counter. These photos are screenshots of the suspect.

“The woman was described as a black female, about 6 feet tall, weighing between 200 and 220 lbs. She is wearing a yellow and brown baseball cap, a white shirt, and leopard printed shorts. Ironically, the shirt she had on had the word “RESPECT” written on the front.

“The damage to the register was $2000.00.

“If you have any information on the identity of this person, please contact our non-emergency number at 206-296-3311 reference case #C21027159.”
