Local Artist Paz recently finished painting a giant mural on the Tam Skylights building, located at 9420 16th Ave SW in White Center (map below).

Paz told The White Center Blog that the large mural took about three solid days to paint.

“I arranged it by just going up to the building one day and knocking on the door and asking, and after a few emails I got the okay to do it,” he said. “I wasn’t paid for this mural, it was entirely funded through people on my Patreon at patreon.com/pazuzu810.”

Paz did most of the mural solo with spray paint, but when doing the background he received help from some high schoolers who used house paint to do all the fills.

“I didn’t know what creatures I was going to paint when I started the mural, but some people who hung out near the mural gave ideas and suggestions for critters, and I just added stuff as the community suggested it!” he added.

“This was a massive mural and I wanted to give a big thank you to everyone who gave a word of encouragement while walking by the wall,” he added. “Thanks to everyone who donated so I could afford the paint to pull this off. Thank you to Tam Skylights for letting me cover your wall in anatomically confusing creatures.”
