Lambert House will be hosting an LGBTQ youth night at the Southgate Roller Rink in White Center on Saturday night, Mar. 25, 2023.

The event is designed for youth ages 11-22, and is free (donation of $10 requested but not required).

Organizers will also be holding a self defense workshop this spring in White Center as well for LGBTQ youth.

“While Lambert House is in Seattle we have been given a King Count BSK grant to do outreach to youth throughout King County, and we have free programming online as well to support youth,” organizers said.

Lambert House was founded and received 501(c)3 status from the IRS in 1981 as the Association of Gay and Lesbian Youth Advocates (AGLYA). AGLYA was the first social service organization in the United States with a mission solely dedicated to LGBTQ+ youth to receive 501(c)3 status from the IRS.

Today, Lambert House has a national and international reputation as a leading organization in the Northwest for queer youth.
