A power outage knocked out electricity for nearly 12,000 Seattle City Light customers in the White Center/Burien area on Sunday afternoon, April 14, 2024.
The widespread outage started at 2:29 p.m., and was out for an area from Three Tree Point in the south up through Boulevard Park to White Center and South Park in the north.
Cause of the outage was still under investigation as of 3:40 p.m.
Seattle City Light said the estimated restoration time is 9 p.m. Sunday night.
UPDATE 4 p.m.: Power has been restored to some customers as of 4 p.m.
