The Rotary Club of Burien and White Center recognized six local high school students during its final Student of the Month meeting of the school year held last week.
Six students from Evergreen High School, Highline High School and Kennedy Catholic High School were honored through the club’s ongoing recognition program, which highlights student achievement and contributions within their schools and communities.
The students recognized were:

- Jannah Yakkob
Highline High School
- Andre Oyoghok-Boyd
- Betz Ahira Vazquez Vergara
Kennedy Catholic High School
- Riley Burns
- Max Hoppe
Rotary’s Student of the Month program recognizes students from local schools and provides an opportunity for community leaders and Rotary members to celebrate their accomplishments throughout the academic year.
