Drivers beware – a short section of SW 100th Street in White Center will close from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily from Sept. 21 through Oct. 10 while crews replace curb ramps, according to King County Road Services.

The closure will extend from 16th Ave SW to a point 200 feet east of the intersection. The road will reopen outside construction hours.

Access to businesses will be maintained throughout the work, and emergency vehicles will be able to travel through the construction zone, the county said.

Crews will replace curb ramps to meet Americans with Disabilities Act requirements.

The work is scheduled to begin Monday, Sept. 21, and continue through Saturday, Oct. 10.

The schedule could change because of weather or crew and equipment availability, according to Road Services.
