The Seattle Fire Department said that a fire in the 9400 block of 18th Ave SW in White Center (map below) on Sunday, June 25, 2023 was arson.
“Fire Investigators have determined the fire was intentionally set and has been referred to Seattle Police Arson and Bomb Squad,” officials said.
Firefighters were called around 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning to the blaze at a townhouse under construction.
The fire was put out, and no injuries were reported.
The estimated loss from the arson is $70,000.
