White Center Food Bank will host a donor appreciation party from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2026, at the food bank (map below).

The event is intended to thank donors and community supporters who help the food bank serve White Center and surrounding South King County communities.

The food bank said the party will celebrate “the people who keep our community fed.”

The FREE event will include catering from Now Make Me a Sandwich, dessert from La Garrafita, a new ice cream shop in downtown White Center, beer, wine and nonalcoholic drink options, music from The Rolling Scones, games and more.

Supporters may bring a friend or family member, according to the food bank.
