The Salvation Army White Center will host a pickleball tournament fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 12 to raise money for youth programs serving local children and teens.
The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 9050 16th Ave SW.
Every dollar raised will directly support the White Center Corps’ youth programs, including its after-school program, summer camp and other youth activities, organizers said.
The fundraiser is intended to help the organization continue offering “fun, safe, and meaningful opportunities for local kids and teens to learn, grow, connect, and thrive,” according to the event announcement.
“Join us for a day of pickleball, community, and purpose,” organizers said.
Ticket price: $40 per person. Lunch will be provided.
Athleisure attire and tennis shoes are strongly encouraged.
