King County is asking White Center residents to share their input on stormwater issues, such as drainage, flooding, and runoff from rain or melted snow on streets and paved surfaces. Feedback will help shape the County’s updated stormwater management plan.
The county said stormwater management is critical to preventing flooding, protecting infrastructure and maintaining community health.
“By planning ahead and maintaining infrastructure before problems arise, King County can reduce emergency repairs, avoid costly disruptions, and ensure the system continues to serve communities effectively,” officials said. “Your input is essential to making this plan responsive to community needs and priorities.”
Community members are invited to share their feedback through a survey that takes about five minutes to complete:

Deadline is Sept. 30
Responses must be submitted by Sept. 30, 2025.
The feedback will help shape priorities for the updated stormwater plan, which will guide how the county invests in and maintains its infrastructure in cities and unincorporated areas throughout South King County.
